Planting and Care Instructions
Genovese prefers full sun and 6-8 inches of space in order to grow to its fullest potential. Give it fertile soil high in nitrogen to improve leaf colour and yield. Water 2-3 times per week. Harvest biggest leaves but don't remove too many as it will stunt growth. Pinch off tips long branches to encourage the plant to fill out.
Sage prefers partial sun most of the day and to be watered 2 times a week. Like most herbs you should give them a square foot of space so they can grow best. Harvest biggest leaves and no more than 1/3 of the plant at once. Sage is a perennial and will grow back next year.
Cilantro likes the sun but can bolt if weather gets too hot. It grows well when planted tightly with other cilantro (up to 9 per square foot). Plant in deep well draining soil and water up to 3 times per week. Harvest no more than 1/3 of the leaves from a plant at a time.
Parsley likes to be planted in partial to full sun and be watered 3 times a week. Plant up to 4 per square feet. Take the largest leaves and no more than 1/3 of the plant.
