
A white exterior with a pink to red interior, this rare Asian heirloom has been redefining what a radish is for a long time. Crisp and sweet compared to their traditional counterparts, watermelon radishes are perfect for garnish, salad, and even pickling. Radishes make for a great companion plants to ward off unwanted pests. Limited quantities available.
Planting and Care Instructions
Plant in partial shade to fuil sun and up to 12 plants per square foot, burying the plant deep enough so its stem is well supported by soil fill and stands upright. Radish likes a soaking once or twice a week depending on temperature. Harvest when radishes are protruding out of the ground. The larger the better. Usually August-September.
