An uncommon variety with full flavour makes this organic Cherokee Purple popular among heirloom lovers. Big juicy fruits with interiors of red, purple, brown and green grow on short vines. Be sure to use a trellis or stakes to ensure proper growth as fruits can weigh 8-12 oz. Limited quantities available.
Planting and Care Instructions
Plant Cherokee purple in full sun and with additional support. Give plenty of space (1 per 4 square feet) and water 3 times per week. Harvest when fully purple. Over ripening on the vine will make the fruit more susceptible to insects.
